Welcome to Brushstroke Arts, a gallery of paintings by Texas artist Robert Anderson.

Robert started drawing pictures of cowboys when he was five years old and he's been drawing and painting ever since. After receiving several awards for painting, he attended the California College of the Arts in Oakland, CA on a full scholarship, and was fortunate to study under some of the best artists of the time.

Robert paints exclusively in oil, working quickly with a brush and palette knife, and enjoys traveling the back roads of Texas searching for subjects. He maintains a studio in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, where he resides with his wife, Sherry.
